13 Bands You Need To Listen To





Everyone knows that there's no such thing as too much music and since this is our thirteenth article, here are thirteen bands that you can obsess over.



#1   Half Alive


Everything from their name to their lyrical content is edgy but in a fun way. If you enjoy deep concepts with a happy, upbeat sound then this band is for you. Plus, they have a debut album coming out on the 9th of August.

#2   Panic! At The Disco


Having already released six full albums, it's pretty easy to say that there's something for everyone. From their punk-rock roots to their current pop sound, this band is easily one of the biggest in the world at the moment.

- She Had The World


#3   Mayday Parade


One of the most successful alternative rock bands, Mayday Parade has produced more than just a couple of hits. They have six full albums currently released, with their most recent having come out in the June of 2018. A perfect example of a band that didn't change their original sound, but instead evolved it.

#4   My Chemical Romance


One of the biggest rock bands to come from the 2000s. My Chemical Romance is still adored by fans, even after the five years that they have been broken up.

#5   I Don't Know How But They Found Me


Founded by Panic! At The Disco's old bassist and Falling In Reverse's old drummer. They release deep music with an 80s spin, making their songs fun and enjoyable.

- Absinthe 


#6   Sleeping With Sirens


The punk-rock band which is known for the singer's unique voice and metal sounds has risen to the top over the last couple of years. For those who enjoy a heavier sound, their earlier and upcoming album focus on highlighting the genre metalcore. For those who prefer a softer sound, that can be found in their albums 'Madness' and 'Gossip.' They have an album set to release on the 9th of September.

#7   Black Veil Brides


If you love meaningful lyrics and don't mind a bit of heavy drums and guitars, then this is the band for you. All five of their current albums follow a story of a group of rebels against a society (F.E.A.R) who have banned creativity and individuality; a modern rock opera. If you loved My Chemical Romance's Danger Days, then you'll love them.

#8   Twenty One Pilots


One of the most popular alternative bands of today. Their songs are filled with heartfelt lyrics about facing your demons and fighting against anxiety and depression. All of their lyrical content is raw and beautiful.

#9   Bring Me The Horizon


The perfect band for if you enjoy listening to hardcore metal with a strong lyrical meaning. Their newest two albums are softer than their earlier work if you don't enjoy heavy metal music.

#10   Fall Out Boy


This band is full of lighter sounds with a heavier meaning. They've already released seven incredible albums, one even being made into a movie. There's definitely something for everyone here, just don't ask what he's saying, nobody knows.

#11   Palaye Royale


This Canadian rock band of brothers has recently been making their name known in America with their albums. They're primarily known for their lyrics and their singer's unique voice. They recently released a new single and have been teasing a new album.

- Hospital Beds


#12   All Time Low


This punk-rock band has been around for over a decade and are still loved by their fans. Their music is meaningful while still staying fun and easy to listen to.

#13   Badflower


Last but certainly not least, is Badflower. They've recently released their debut album, which discusses issues such as self-harm, child abuse, animal abuse, growing older, and more. This band is definitely worth a listen to, I promise you'll find something you like.
