Ranking Twenty One Pilots Albums
Let's face it - every single album Twenty One Pilots has put out over their career has been amazing, which makes writing this article so difficult. Yet, we pushed through and did it anyway. So, here's every one of their albums, ranked from our least favorite to our favorite. Please remember that this is simply our opinion, and we truly do love each album by this band.
#5 - Regional At Best (2011)
This is a great album as far as lyrical content goes, but its sound and production are of low quality, which makes sense considering this album was recorded in a basement. This album is no longer available for sale digitally and can only be bought through a third party, which has basically made this the most forgotten work from the band. Five songs on this album were later reworked, however, it's still sad that the duo left some amazing songs behind. For these reasons, this album was ranked last on our list.
Tracklist:
- Guns For Hands
- Holding On To You
- Ode To Sleep
- Slowtown
- Car Radio
- Forest

- Anathema

- Be Concerned

#4 - Twenty One Pilots (Self-Titled) (2009)
Like 'Reginal At Best' this album's sound quality was low, but the lyrics remained deep and thought-provoking. Songs such as 'March To The Sea,' 'Addict With A Pen,' and 'Taxi Cab' held strong meanings. This was the first album that the group ever released, and some of the songs feel like uncompleted thoughts, while tracks like 'Air Catcher' feel like they don't quite belong compared to the lyrical content of some of the others.
Tracklist:
- Implicit Demand For Proof
- Fall Away
- The Pantaloon
- Addict With A Pen

#3 - Trench (2018)
Each is song is colorful, different, and unique. This was easily the highest anticipated album of 2018, and it didn't disappoint. Every song was meaningful and deep. However, it wasn't enough to beat the next two of their albums. It's still an amazing work of art.

#2 - Blurryface (2015)
This was the album that truly helped get them to the place they are today, with hits like 'Stressed Out' and 'Ride.' It's a very personal album and portrays the character of Blurryface and fear perfectly. The songs encapsulate just about every emotion you can feel while listening to music.

#1 - Vessel (2013)
While all of their other albums had deep songs, none can quite compare to the tracklist for this album. Every single song has a purpose and a meaning; plus they all feel like they belong on the album. The vocals and instrumentals are incredible, as well. Songs such as 'Car Radio,' 'Ode To Sleep,' 'Truce,' and 'Guns For Hands' are just a few of the deep hits on this album. Without a doubt, this is a work of art.
