Yogi Bears Lodi: Experience And Review

Image
Earlier this month I got the pleasure of camping at Lodi's very own, Yogi Bear's Campground. All places have their pros and their cons, Yogi Bear's was no exception. In some areas, they exceeded all of my expectations but in others, they fell way short. So here are my pros and cons for if you decide to take a trip to Jellystone Park. PROS: - The entire site is HUGE. It takes around twenty minutes just to walk from one side to another. In fact, they provide rentable golf carts and bikes just for getting around. You could barely walk five feet without being passed by someone on a scooter or bike. - The campsites are grass instead of dirt, which saved our feet from becoming too dirty. It was enjoyable to be able to put our bare feet onto the ground and not become encased in a layer of dirt and grime. - There is a lot of different activities for your little ones to do. Every hour (starting at 10 am) is a craft or activity in the Pavilion. Along with that, there are ...

So Pierce The Veil fans it appears that the long wait for a fifth album may be finally coming to an end. At the moment, it's unreleased what Fuentes' newest project is, so stay tuned to find out! Twenty One Pilots Drop Nostalgic 'The Hype' Music Video

Image
Earlier today alternative rock band, Twenty One Pilots dropped their newest music video for their song, ' The Hype.' The video begins with the band once again performing in their living room. As the shot zooms out we can see a small crowd of people, not really paying much attention to the duo. As the video progresses we get to see more and more people fall in love with the band, until everything begins to fall apart around them, forcing Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun to pick up the pieces of their lives around them. The video represents their fear of buying into the hype around the band and then losing everything. At the end of the video, we get to see Dun hand Joseph a Capri Sun which is a tie-in to their hit, 'Stressed Out.' The video so far has been loved and adored by fans. Bring Me The Horizon Release Crazy Music Video For 'Sugar Honey Ice And Tea'

Image
British punk-rock band, Bring Me The Horizon released the highly anticipated music video for their song, ' Sugar Honey Ice And Tea'  earlier today. Having been a fan favorite from their most recent album, 'AMO' it was no surprise that this was the next music video that the group chose to put out. The video itself has been extremely well perceived by fans so far. There is really no way to perfectly describe or sum up this video, other than it's weird on literal steroids. It was a wacky, crazy, and fun way to start off a Friday morning. Along with the release of the music video, the band has also been teasing a collaboration with singer, Halsey and their social media accounts. It is currently unknown when the suspected track will drop, although it is expected to be soon. 'Sugar Honey Ice And Tea' music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iM83TiKdY0

Seventeen years ago today, My Chemical Romance released their first album, I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love. Now that day is forever cemented as the fan proclaimed International My Chemical Romance Day. This holiday first surfaced in 2013 after the band announced that they would be going their separate ways. This day has been a way for fans to honor the group and what they stood for. Since it's officially My Chemical Romance Day again, we decided to list a couple of ways that you can choose to spend this special day. 1. DIY Killjoy Mask This is a super easy and quick craft which will allow you to dress up like a killjoy. It's Time To Break The Silence About Mental Health

Image
Mental health is a huge issue in the United States and continues to grow worse with each passing month. Anxiety disorders (panic disorder, O.C.D., post-traumatic stress disorder, and phobias), depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders plague the lives of 1 in every 5 adults in America. Mental health disorders are mainly caused by biological factors (genes, physical illness, injury, or brain chemistry), life experiences, and family history of mental health problems. 1 in 100 (2.4 million) adults lives with schizophrenia. 2.6% (6.1 million) adults live with bipolar disorder. 6.9% (16 million) adults live with major depression. 18.1% (42 million) adults live with a form of an anxiety disorder. Approximately 10.2 million American adults have a re-occurring mental health disorder. Suicide is currently the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. Review For 'Badflower's' Music Video: 'Promise Me'

Image
American rock band, Badflower recently released their fourth music video from their album, ' OK, I'M SICK ' for the song ' Promise Me .' The video came out on June 13, 2019, and has gathered 554,837 views on Youtube at the time of this article. Being their newest video, I decided to go ahead and give it my honest review. The video will be linked at the end of the article. The video tells the story of two lovers growing old together. It is a beautiful sentiment that the band handles well. We see it start out with the couple as children when they first meet each other in a hospital. They lighten the dark and gloomy mood of their location with childhood innocence and playfulness. This plays a huge part in the overall theme of the song and the video, which is living in denial of growing old. The next scene cuts forward to when the duo are young adults, in a bar. The characters still maintain the same innocence as their children counterparts, further i...

5 Best Fall Out Boy Music Videos

Image
Fall Out Boy has been releasing some pretty incredible and unique music videos for over a decade now, so we decided to take this opportunity and rank the five best. We made our decisions based on the meaning behind the video, how entertaining it was, and whether or not we would watch it again. The song has nothing to do with our choices, as sometimes the video doesn't do an amazing song justice. This list is purely opinionated. So here you go - the top five Fall Out Boy music videos. #5   -   Wilson (Expensive Mistakes) This was overall one of the most fun and enjoyable Fall Out Boy videos currently released. It was entertaining to see a video portrayed as though it were a television ad. Plus, seeing some of the old objects associated with the band was nice and nostalgic.  #4   -   What A Catch, Donnie This is easily the most heart-wrenching video that they have ever released. It is full of sentiment and a...

Badflower 'OK, I'M SICK' Album Review

Image
This is a review of the American rock band, Badflower's debut album, ' OK, I'M SICK .' I'll be reviewing and critiquing the songs one by one based on their meaning, music, and execution. At the end, I'll share my final thoughts on the album as a whole and give it a number rating out of ten. This review is purely my opinion on the album; no hate to Badflower or anyone else is intended. With that being said, let's dive into the review. Song #1 - X ANA X (Explicit) The first song off of the album deals with strong feelings of anxiety. For being such a tough topic to discuss they do a good job of portraying it in a way that doesn't undermine the effects of mental health. Somehow, they even managed to make a song about mental health fun without joking about the issue at hand. The spoken parts in the track are a nice touch and make it different from other songs like this. It tells the story of someone taking Xanax and wishing they were in control...

Badflower 'Temper' Album Review

Image
The American rock band, Badflower has recently released their debut album, ' OK, I'M SICK.' Before we take a look into their newest work, we decided to take a trip back to the first songs they ever released. This will be a detailed review of their EP ' Temper.'  I'll be reviewing and critiquing the songs one by one based on their meaning, music, and execution. At the end, I'll share my final thoughts on the album as a whole and give it a number rating out of ten. Like with all of our reviews, these are our opinions and we mean no harm to the band or to anyone else. With that being said, let's take a look at ' Temper.' (Note: The original version of the EP came with the song, ' Heroin' which we chose not to review in this article, as the song is also on their full-length album. So if you'd like to read our review of that song, the ' OK, I'M SICK' review will be released tomorrow morning. We're sorry for any inc...

Ranking Twenty One Pilots Albums

Image
Let's face it - every single album Twenty One Pilots has put out over their career has been amazing, which makes writing this article so difficult. Yet, we pushed through and did it anyway. So, here's every one of their albums, ranked from our least favorite to our favorite. Please remember that this is simply our opinion, and we truly do love each album by this band. #5   -    Regional At Best (2011) This is a great album as far as lyrical content goes, but its sound and production are of low quality, which makes sense considering this album was recorded in a basement. This album is no longer available for sale digitally and can only be bought through a third party, which has basically made this the most forgotten work from the band. Five songs on this album were later reworked, however, it's still sad that the duo left some amazing songs behind. For these reasons, this album was ranked last on our list. Tracklist: Guns For Hands Holding On To ...

Review Of 'How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World'

Image
(Warning: Spoilers) Going into the theatre, I was a little bit skeptical that this film would live up to the standards of the last two; I was left shocked at the new high bar it set. When you have a movie with sequels, most times they end up getting increasingly worse as the story continues - that doesn't happen with this franchise.  From the get-go, we're thrown into the action and suspense that this film holds. The story began to build up from the second it started and kept a believable feel. The opening scenes showed Hiccup and his friends releasing dragons from a crew of dragon hunters. It isn't long after that when we meet the main villain of the movie, Grimmel....
